XAMMP software

XAMPP is small in size software comprising the most universal web improvement technologies in a sole package. Its small mass, and portability features make it the perfect tool for scholars creating and testing software in PHP and MySQL. XAMPP can be downloaded freely in two particular packages: complete and lite. A broad array of development tools are offered with the full package.
It's free and accessible for Windows, Linux and Mac Operating System. It enables web developers and programmers to examine their products using their machines without necessary accessing the internet. Various essential security features are enabled by default in order to make this simple. A special tool is provided to password-protect the most important parts of the package.
Downloading and Installing XAMPP
To download XAMPP installers go the XAMPP website and download according to your operating system. The installation process is like a standard software installation procedure. Installation is easy you only need to  follow instructions provided at the site. During installation an option is given to either run Apache or mysQL as services. Incase you select it, Apache AND mysQL will run when the system boots which is not necessary if your machine memory resources is busy if you rarely use PHP development. These settings can be modified after installation. XAMPP requires regular updates to include the newest release of Apache/MySQL/PHP
After installation of the XAMPP software you can configure virtual host. XAMPP designed for Windows makes configuring a local check server on your machine very simple. It also provides the WAMP stack i.e. (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP). It also comprises the PHPMyAdmin used to handle MySQL databases.
Incase you do not wish to store your files in the xampp/htdocs folder and enter in a long URL for each page load, you can make virtual host instead for every site. For instance, decide to store all your sites in you're my Documents directory for simple recovery. Or better still create a root folder on your hard disk for example c: sites/examples/ as this makes utilizing shell commands simpler. You can always change that later.
